 (C) Joystiq or whoever they pray to So I'm not going to E3 this year. Boy does that suck. It sucks hard. Real life bit me in the ass this week and is preventing me from doing my duty as a gamer. I'm not writing this blog entry to bitch about it, though. I'm actually writing this to thank the bloggers out there. My personal preference is Joystiq, but they're not the only ones doing the job.
I called up Chris, Joystiq blogger extraordinaire, when I was pretty sure that the Sony press conference was finished for the day. I wanted to let him know how much it meant to me that they were doing what they're doing. I seriously almost had tears in my eyes because E3, this year in particular, is a big part of my life. It means a lot to me that the folks at Joystiq are reproducing the event in such a way that I can almost feel like I'm there. In fact, to complete the illusion, all I really need to do is drink myself to sleep tonight... That would really make the E3 experience genuine.Seriously, Joystiq, thank you, it means a lot. |
