"The most enjoyable part of your show is how you only give your hard truth and opinions about games and topics that go along with them, contrary to most gaming websites that write articles like they are advertisements." -Brad

My Game Wall
My Game Wall

That right there is my wall o' games. It's hard to spot in the photo, but there's something very special right in the center. I don't even remember exactly what year is was, but after years of thinking how great it would be to get the greatest game of all time autographed by Miyamoto himself, I finally hit paydirt. After Nintendo's E3 press conference, I snuck behind the curtain to find myself backstage handing Shiggy my sacred cartridge and Sharpie. I didn't care that there was a large, suited, bodyguard-type guy giving me the staredown as if to say "What. the. hell. do you think you're doing?" - that's right, I was on a mission. Now, it's what I consider the center of my gaming 733tn3ss. THIS, is the sort of thing I was talking about last week - gamer pride.

Should I be proud of having a useless autograph? Probably not. I mean, it's useless, like I said. It's hardcore, though. How many of you have one? That's right. I'm the geekiest of the geeks. I figure, if I can't be the coolest of the cool, I should at least have *something* going for me. I haven't even mentioned the Satoru Iwata autographed Zelda cart, the double-autographed Ico disc, 12x signed Halo, Space Channel 5, Katamari Damacy, Fable, Virtua Fighter 3TB, etc... At least I'm not jaded.

This is something totally different. I've been working on it for a while, and I'm kind of proud of it, so I thought I'd show it to you all. It's my nephew from a few years ago when he was a baby. His birthday's next week, so I wanted to finish before it came. I've done a few of these woodburn things. It's done completely with a magnifying glass. I use a Photoshop filter to convert a photograph to a burnable image and then spend a lot of time in the sun. Arizona's not all bad, I suppose. If anyone has an opinion, feel free to e-mail me about it.

I would love to be able to get an autograph from Tokuro Fujiwara when I get the new PSP Ghouls'n Ghosts game comes out...hmm. If you know how to get in touch with him, that would be awesome.

I was thinking it would be cool to pitch a segment idea to you on how I had sketched out many many ideas for that game, since I imagined it would never come out...but it is a rather niche subject, and I guess, moot at this point as well.

By the way, that woodburning image is sweet...have you ever considered silk screen image printing? It is a similar process, kinda.

If you get the billboard, I'm in. It might take a month, since I could only do it for a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays, but it would be fun. How hard do you think it would be to get 25 sheets of plywood up to a billboard platform?

Alon,

Do you think you could burn an image of Zelda on a billboard off of I-10 and the 202? Do you think your schedule would allow you the time to do this if I got you a bigger lense? What if I went to Kitt Peak and stole a huge chunk of glass would that help you out? Possibly aiding your speed in covering a wider area burning the image. I'll make a deal with you I I'll purchase the billboard if you donate your time and allow me to take pictures of your progress. Honestly, I think you're very creative and have extreme patience and an eye for detail. Very well done! I use to burn ants when I was little but never was able to get them to line up into a picture, well done.

Aww. alright, I'll leave a comment. I love how your mother leaves her sig as "Mom" as if she knew you'd be the first to read it. How disgustingly charming..
I think I can identify with your entire feature on gamer's pride in the previous show, since I've been gaming... ooo, most of my 30 years of life now. Went through all the classic stages you probably did, as well, being the unpopular, lanky, nerd with glasses that nobody gave a damn about. Heh... Still, I digress. Now that its cool to play games, and be a "gamer" (I've really never liked that term.) I can definitely feel a sense of pride that I was there since TV tennis, Atari, Apple's and Apple II's... I'll stop here. The list is just too long. My most prized possesion is still my vintage Atari logo T-shirt. Yes, I don't care that Atari isn't Atari anymore. It meant something back then.

I can't believe my mom is the only person to leave a comment on my website. You guys (ChatterBoxers) are making me look bad... what's this all about, huh?

-thanks, Mom-

Good looking baby!!

You did a really nice job; I like the double board and darker background.

Very nice work. I bet it took a lot of time. Daniel will appreciate the effort.
